Rafe Sholer


Rafe’s dedication to music started at three years old when he began piano tuition. Rafe has performed in support of Wolfmother, Spiderbait and Pete Murray, as well as corporate events for Audi, L’Oreal and Warner Brothers. He has composed music for MTV, CBS and ABC networks and collaborated with Wally De Backer (Gotye) and Quan Yeomans (Regurgitator). A former ABC audio engineer, Rafe has taught music at colleges in London and Germany. Currently a full-time music and digital media lecturer, Rafe’s areas of interest include augmented reality, interaction design, sound synthesis, algorithmic composition and the psychosocial dynamics of electronic music cultures.
