BFFs – Animals in World War 2

Entrant Name

Penny Wong and Olivia Wong

Rats and mice were attracted by food and spread disease during the war.

Cats were deployed to control the pest population and gave emotional support to troops. For returned service men and women, cats and other pets continue to be our BFFs and help to knit our community together.
