Darren Fisher’s studio practice studies visual storytelling and communication in sequential art with a focus on concepts of identity and truth. His teaching practice in animation focuses on shared relationships across media and genre while seeking to exploit the inherent intermixing of autobiography and fiction. Darren has organised and contributed to a number of comic-related exhibitions, publications, and events (both online and physical), and is currently working across a range of projects including a superhero romance comic in collaboration with a games developer, and a digital comic storytelling tool to further democratise the medium of sequential art.
